Such an exciting announcement! I am proud to announce that J.S. Mcpherson has joined our team offering Registered Massage Therapy for Cardinal Points Clinic. I have known J.S. for quite a few years, as he has been a big player in the conscious music community and I have seen him perform for a few sound healing events, kirtans, and more. J.S. is alot more than just a registered massage therapist but he is also a professional musician, kundalini yoga teacher, ecstatic dance and drum circle facilitator, and all around spiritual dynamo who has gigged all over Ontario.
–
Despite all of these great accomplishments, J.S. Mcpherson has been a full time registered massage therapist for over 15 years, and has worked to become a master in his field by continually improving his knowledge of the human body.

JS has a background as a professional percussionist, and his experience in teaching Djembe (known as “The Healing Drum”) inspires him to approach therapeutic massage from a unique perspective earning him recognition as a “tapotement specialist”. His mother practiced as an Aromatherapist, and his grandmother treated polio with massage therapy in the 1950`s. After skiing competitively in Banff, surfing in Australia, and performing as a drummer, JS and his young family have come to settle in South Central Ontario. JS also brings experience having provided massage therapy to elite athletes during the 2015 Pan Am games. Currently, JS continues to expand by facilitating “healing drum” circles, sound healing, ecstatic dance, kirtan, men’s circles and teaching Kundalini Yoga.
